Confirm scope and approvals
What are Toronto's noise bylaw hours for work downtown?
Toronto's published construction-noise rules prohibit clearly audible construction noise overnight on weekdays and Saturdays, and throughout Sundays and statutory holidays. The regular windows and any approved exemption must also fit the building's rules.

Use the City's current rule
The City lists prohibited construction-noise periods as 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next day, Monday to Friday; before 9 a.m. and after 7 p.m. on Saturday; and all day on Sundays and statutory holidays. An approved Noise Exemption Permit can alter the applicable conditions. Check the current City source and the actual permit before scheduling.
SiteClear answers calls 24/7. That availability does not mean demolition noise is permitted at every hour. Loading and unloading have a separate noise category, so ask the project team which rules apply to each planned activity.
Apply the building conditions too
Management may impose a narrower window, elevator bookings or advance notice. Agree which activities fit within both municipal and building requirements. Permission to enter a building is not by itself permission to generate construction noise.
When the proposed window does not fit
Have the project team resolve the conflict before booking work. The answer may involve a different sequence or an applicable City process, rather than assuming the crew can work later. Keep confirmed conditions with the written scope and share them with the people coordinating the site.
