Plan a residential renovation

Demolition for a combined condo-suite renovation

Combining condo suites creates two related scopes: ordinary removals inside each suite and the separately designed connection between them. Do not assume that a shared boundary can be opened because the proposed layout uses both interiors.

Illustrative two-suite plan

Suite A retains its kitchen and living area. Suite B becomes additional bedrooms and a study, with its kitchen removed under the approved plan. The ordinary package includes specified cabinetry, partitions and finish layers within each suite. The connecting boundary follows its own reviewed design and release.

A wider option renews more floors and ceilings across both suites. That may change the finish handover but does not remove the need to identify retained building systems and construction.

Coordinate the two interior packages

Number the areas consistently on drawings and removal lists. Identify which contractor receives the former kitchen, the connection edges and the continuous finishes. Unexpected conditions in one suite should not automatically change instructions in the other.

Bring the combined drawings to SiteClear

Provide the current and approved proposed layouts, management instructions and the builder's receiving requirements. SiteClear can assess ordinary interior removals and any separately supported reviewed scope. Use the existing condo management guide for building coordination; a booked elevator is not approval to alter the connecting wall.
