Concrete and interior removals for a commercial lift retrofit

These are illustrative layout types, not recommendations for a particular property. The designer determines structural requirements, dimensions and support; the supplier defines its equipment needs.

An internal arrangement may meet an office on one floor and a corridor on another. Their ordinary interior removals differ even if the intended lift position aligns vertically. An external connection can retain more internal floor area while changing wall and approach finishes.

Show the retained rooms, openings and surface transitions together. Any pit demolition, new excavation or foundation work needs an explicit scope; it is not automatically included in a concrete-cutting enquiry.

The project team must identify responsibility for temporary support, guarding, access control and protection between stages. The removal contractor's endpoint should match the condition the next contractor has agreed to receive. A completed opening is not a completed or usable lift installation.
