Commercial removal scope

Retail strip-outs for tenant changes and store refits

SiteClear assesses ordinary shop fit-out for removal: specified partitions, fitting rooms, fixed counters, ceiling components and floor finishes. The service can support a selective refit or an agreed tenant handback across Toronto and the GTA.

Discuss this scope

Describe the shop the next contractor needs

A selective refit might retain storage and staff rooms while replacing a sales counter. A wider strip-out might remove the old room layout for a different tenant. Show the retained parts in both cases. The instruction to return a unit to shell should be supported by the landlord's actual requirements, not an assumed standard finish.

Separate stock and specialist fixtures

The retailer arranges stock, loose displays and business equipment. Signage suppliers and relevant trades resolve their own systems. Storefront glazing, security devices and base-building services should not become incidental demolition items because the shop is closing.

An illustrative clothing-store refit could retain the stockroom and change only fitting rooms and the sales floor. The proposed new flooring may extend beneath removed partitions while stopping at retained cabinetry. Those edges belong in the removal description and the flooring contractor's receiving requirements.

Coordinate collection through the actual building

Provide management's contractor instructions, the collection point and shared delivery arrangements. Read the retail scheduling guide for the decisions that shape the programme. No universal overnight or after-hours window follows from this service.

Request the store assessment

Bring the current plan, desired layout or handback instructions, fixture ownership list and next-trade contact. SiteClear can assess the removal depth and material route. New surfaces, repairs and replacement fixtures remain separately defined work.
